HealthCareerWeb.com is an all-inclusive job board that features a unique professional networking component. Within the professional network, users can interact with other health care professionals as well as blog and post forum threads about topics of interest 


What does the CHR badge in the upper right-hand corner of some users’ profile pictures mean? 


The CHR badge is a HealthCareerWeb verified account and is an acronym for Certified Health Recruiter. This means that any offers and/or interest that this person may show in hiring you is legitimate, and should be considered serious. While other recruiters on the site may contact you, you should be cautious as they are not endorsed or verified by HealthCareerWeb as legitimate.


How do I apply for jobs?


Applying for jobs is simple. Simply put in your location and job keywords on the HealthCareerWeb.com homepage “Search Jobs” box. After hitting Enter you’ll be taken to healthcare jobs in your area.


Additionally, by signing up as a member (which is totally free) you’ll be able to save jobs to your profile for later viewing as well as send jobs to friends.


What is a professional network?


An online professional network is a site dedicated to fostering relationships between people with similar interests and/or job related functions. Many use a professional network to extend their existing network of colleagues beyond what is typically possible using traditional means. Professional networks are also designed to highlight one’s work experience while allowing a user’s personality to be showcased in order to give prospective employers a unique sense of a jobseeker’s overall candidacy. 


How do I post a video?


In order to post a video, you must first sign up for a free member account. Once you’re a member simply go to your profile page by clicking “My Account” in the upper right-hand corner. After that, you’ll notice a number of links on the left side of the screen – click “Videos.” A drop down menu will then appear, whereupon you’ll want to click “Upload Video.” From here you’ll click “Browse for Files” and upload the file of your choice. It will take a few minutes for it to appear on the site, so no need to upload it more than once.


How do I create a group?


Once you’re logged in as a member, simply click on the groups tab. This will put you on the Create a Group page. Here you’re able to customize nearly every aspect of the group including the group’s specific URL and the specific privacy settings of the group. Once you’ve completed this page, you’ll then be directed to the Group Setup Wizard where you’ll be able to write an Initial Blog Post to welcome members. Don’t forget to invite people to join you’re group as well.
